Do I need a special licence for a flatbed?
Light flatbed pickups and vans up to 3.5 tonnes require only a standard car licence. Flatbed lorries over 3.5 tonnes require a C1 or full C licence depending on weight.
Are side boards available on flatbeds?
Some of our flatbed vehicles come with removable side boards or stanchions. Please mention your load type when booking and we will advise on available configurations.
Can I load a flatbed with a forklift?
Yes — flatbed decks are designed for forklift loading. Please ensure the forklift can access the vehicle at your loading location.
